Little Pals Preschool hires only qualified and dedicated staff who share our philosophy and goals. We are a New York State licensed Day Care and NYS Department of Education registered. Therefore, Little Pals has met all stringent safety, health, and educational requirements. Furthermore, under the direction of Angela Nardo, a speech-language pathologist, the staff applies strategies to encourage language development and language use throughout all activities.

 

Our language based curriculum is supported by learning centers throughout each classroom that encourage exploration and creativity, as well as, communication skills. Centers include: Reading, Writing, Math, Science, Music, Pretend Play, Blocks, Fine Motor Manipulations, Sand/Water Table and Arts & Crafts. Our curriculum has been expanded to meet NYS Core Standards. We have added the "Handwriting Without Tears" program as well. Also, we incorporated the NYS "Eat Well, Play Hard" nutritional program into our curriculum. Our goal is to help develop the child as a whole.

We are a New York State Certified Day Care facility. We offer day care services before and after our preschool programs, as well as, after school care for kindergartners and first graders. Our facility is clean, bright, secured (new surveillance and entry system) and just minutes from major commuter routes (i.e. Route 17 and 87-Thruway). Our hours of operation are 7:30AM to 6PM, Monday thru Friday.
